Please read first before inquiring about buying a rabbit.
"Bacon And Eggs Rabbitry" sales policy for our rabbits are sold on a first come first serve basis. There is no longer a waiting list. We are a closed Rabbitry. Sorry but we do not want to expose our herd to anything that could possibly be introduced.
The majority of our bunnies range from $50 and up.
depending on type and breed...
Havana, Mini Rex, Rex, Holland Lop, English Lop, Flemish Giant
You must be 18 years of age to purchase from our Rabbitry. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parents’ permission to purchase a rabbit.
We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone, for any reason at any time. If we cancel a sale, your deposit will be refunded.
Reserving A Bunny: Rabbits can be placed on hold with a 50% non-refundable deposit put down in advance and they must be picked up at 8 weeks old unless plans have been made at the time of deposit. If anything should happen to the rabbit you placed a hold on, while still in our care within the 8 weeks we will give you a replacement of the same value. We understand that things can happen and circumstances can change If something does come up and you need to wait on bringing a bunny home after you have made a deposit, that deposit can be transferred towards another bunny later on down the road. If you decide you do not want a bunny after you have made the deposit, you lose your deposit.
We must receive deposits on bunnies sold within 2 business days. If we have not received your deposit via PayPal/Venmo within 2 business days, we cannot hold your bunny.
Bunny Pickup: Your bunny can go home with you when it reaches 8 weeks of age. (Baby bunnies will not leave before they are 8 weeks old) On the day of pickup, we only accept the balance of you bunny in CASH/PayPal/Venmo. Also, you must bring a box/cage or some type of carrier to take your bunny home. All baby bunnies need to be picked up within 5 days of available pick up date. Anything past the 5 days will be an additional $5 a day. Once a date and time is established to pick up your bunny "you must pick up" at the time and date agreed upon. If the bunny has not been picked up and we cannot reach you and you have not attempted to contact us, the deposit will be forfeited, and the bunny will be placed back up for sale. If for some reason something changes, and you are not able to make it that day and time we must hear from you 24 hours in advance and a new date and time arranged. We will not hold bunnies without prior agreement. We are limited on cage space, so we really appreciate "pick-up" appointments to be kept.
If you can no longer keep your bunny(s): If you purchase a bunny from us and are not able to continue caring for it for any reason, we ask that the bunny be returned to us! No refunds are given, and no questions asked. Please Return the bunny to us and we will work hard to find a good home for them.
Additional Information: We are not responsible for any bunny once they have left our Rabbitry. They will leave our premises healthy, happy and loved and we expect them to stay that way. If your bunny becomes sick after bringing it home, please call me and I will try to pinpoint the problem but know it is your responsibility to take it to the vet if it needs care. We do not guarantee gender or color. To the best of our ability we will decide on both gender and color at 4 weeks and again at 6 and 8 weeks before being sold. If the color changes as the bunny gets older or if we missed and made a mistake on gender, we apologize but we do both to the best of our abilities.
Things To Consider: You will need a cage 24x24 minimum with a wire bottom and a pullout tray for small bunnies. The bigger the bunny the bigger the cage you will need. You will need to feed pellets of at least 16% protein. You will need to feed hay daily. Fresh water daily. If bunnies kept outside you will need a cage with a good roof to keep things dry, a wind barrier for winter months. NO DIRECT SUN in the summer months and predator safe cage. In case of emergency, do your homework ahead of time and find a vet that cares and treats bunnies, most do not. No treats until 6 months of age and NEVER iceberg lettuce. Apples, bananas, and carrots in small quantities occasionally is ok. No cedar shavings anywhere around your bunny because they are toxic once mixed with urine.
